Workbook content appropriate for teaching of German for lower classes of elementary schools

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je zhodnocení obsahu učiva v pracovních sešitech německého jazyka pro 1. stupeň základní školy z hlediska základních kritérií jazyka, a to z hlediska jazykových prostředků, řečových dovedností a reálií. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou, klasifikací, rozsahem a obsahem základních kritérií týkajících se výuky německého jazyka. Praktická část je dále rozdělena do dvou celků a zabývá se analýzou cvičení obsažených v pracovních sešitech. Tato analýza se týká procentuálního zastoupení jazykových prostředků, řečových dovedností a reálií ve cvičeních v pracovních sešitech. První celek se soustřeďuje na obecnou charakteristiku kritérií jazyka a jejich zastoupení v pracovních sešitech, ve druhém je podrobněji analyzován pracovní sešit, který využívám při vlastní výuce.

Abstract:

The subject of this graduate thesis is to evaluate the learning content in the workbooks of German language for lower elementary schools from the point of view of basic language criteria, such as language means, speaking and writing skills and geographical facts. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the general characteristics, classification, extend and content of basic criteria concerning German language teaching. The practical part is subdivided into two sections and deals with the analysis of exercises included in the workbooks. This analysis concerns the percentage representation of language means, speaking and writing skills and geographical facts in all the exercises included in the workbooks. The first section focuses on general characteristics of language criteria and its proportional representation in the workbooks, the second section analyses the workbook I work with while teaching.
