Teaching mathematics in Germany. Case study of teaching stochastic on German grammer school.

Abstract:

Rigorózní práce shrnuje aktuální poznatky o výuce matematiky v Německu a představuje vyučování pravděpodobnosti a statistiky na německém gymnáziu. Empirická část práce popisuje metodologii výzkumné části. Významnou částí je didaktické zpracování vybraných učebních obsahů ze stochastiky pro výuku na gymnáziích. Práce obsahuje vybrané učební úlohy, představuje učební pomůcky ze stochastiky, shrnuje klasické a alternativní metody a sociální formy výuky stochastiky, různé algoritmy řešení učebních úloh, motivační prvky do výuky stochastiky apod., které mohou učitelé zařadit přímo do výuky. Na závěr jsou v práci uvedeny výsledky empirického šetření a inovativní návrhy do výuky stochastiky na českém gymnáziu. Práci uzavírá přehled použité a doporučené literatury, jmenný rejstřík, seznam obrázků a jejich zdrojů. Práce má jednu přílohu.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis summarizes up-to-date knowledge of teaching mathematics in Germany and presents teaching probability and statistics at a German grammar school. The empirical part of the thesis describes the methodology of the research part. The didactic processing of selected teaching contents from stochastic for teaching at grammar schools is an important part. The thesis contains selected teaching tasks, presents teaching aids in stochastic, summarizes classic and alternative methods and social forms of teaching stochastic, various algorithms of the solution of teaching problems, motivational elements for teaching stochastic and the like, which can be included by teachers into teaching. At the conclusion of the work the results of the empirical research and innovative suggestions into teaching stochastic at a Czech grammer school are mentioned. The work is concluded by the overview of the used and recommended literature, name index, list of pictures and their sources. There is one appendix in the thesis.
