Abstract:
Rostliny chmele se liší od jiných zemědělských plodin mimo jiné také v procesech transportu a využití vody. Stonky až dvanáct metrů dlouhé s velkou listovou plochou a vysokou rychlostí transpirace mají poměrně malé množstvím cév s obrovskou vodivou kapacitou. Hop plants are very different from other agriculture plants also in processes of water transport and water use. Stems up to 12 metres long with large leaf area and high transpiration rate have contain only small number of xylem conduits with huge transport capacity.
