Compositions for two organists

Abstract:

Práce chce zachytit okolnosti vzniku počátečního období skladeb pro dva varhaníky. Chce také přinést přehled skladeb pro dva hráče (jak na jednom, tak ina dvou nástrojích) jako důkaz zájmů skladatelů o tento obor a také jako jistoupomoc pro případné zájemce o tyto skladby. Práce je rozdělena na tyto kapitoly:První kapitola podává stručný přehled dějin evropské hudby s ohledemna období, kdy se alespoň sporadicky objevily skladby pro dva varhaníky.Druhá kapitola podává stručný náhled do historie varhan, jejich vzniku avývoje v průběhu hudebních období.Kapitola třetí pojednává o paralelním vývoji ostatních klávesových nástrojů,zejména cembala a klavíru, protože dlouhou dobu byla hudební literaturapro varhany i tyto nástroje prakticky identická.Ve čtvrté kapitole je popsán vývoj komorní hudby a v návaznosti kapitola pátápřináší přehled vývoje čtyřruční hry na klávesové nástroje.Kapitola šestá přináší krátké pojednání o vývoji skladeb pro dva varhaníky asedmá uvádí specifické problémy při samotné interpretaci.V osmé kapitole sledujeme kompoziční práci vybraných skladeb a devátá jepodobného ražení. Je věnována podle mne nejvýznamnějším skladbám pro dvahráče, šesti koncertům P. Antonia Solera.Nejdůležitějším přínosem této práce je desátá kapitola. Je to kompletní výčetskladeb pro čtyřruční varhany.

Abstract:

This thesis wants to capture the circumstances of creation of compositions foran initial period of two organists. It also wants to bring a summary of tracks for twoplayers (both on one and on two instruments) as evidence of the interests ofcomposers in this field, as well as some assistance for those wishing to thosecompositions. Thesis is divided into the following chapters:The first chapter gives a brief overview of the history of European music withrespect to the period when at least sporadically appeared songs for two organists.The second chapter gives a brief insight into the history of the organ, theirorigin and evolution over the period music.Chapter three discusses the parallel development of other keyboardinstruments, especially the piano and harpsichord, since a long time the musicalliterature for organ and these instruments are virtually identical.In the fourth chapter describes the development of chamber music andfollowing the fifth chapter provides an overview of the development of four-handedplay keyboards. Chapter Six brings a short treatise on the development works for twoorganists and seventh identifies specific problems in the actual interpretation. In theeighth chapter we follow compositional work of selected tracks and the ninth is of asimilar nature. It is given to me the most important compositions for two players, sixconcerts P. Antonio Soler.The most important contribution of this work is the tenth chapter. It is thecomplete list of compositions organ duets.
