Resilience of a family with a handicapped child

Abstract:

Diplomová práce bude analyzovat velice aktuální téma, a to problematiku resilienčních faktorů rodiny s dítětem s handicapem. Práce bude klasicky rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou - výzkumnou část. V teoretické části se budeme zabývat problematikou resilience rodiny, tedy schopností zvládat nepříznivé životní situace a překonávat krize. Pozornost bude také soustředěna na resilienční faktory ve vztahu k rodině s dítětem s handicapem a na související pojmy jako je rodina, nepříznivá životní situace, sociální služba aj. Hlavním cílem práce bude identifikovat hlavní resilienční faktory, které pomáhají rodině s dítětem s handicapem překonávat složitou životní situaci. Cíl práce bude zjištěn na základě realizace praktické části, a to prostřednictvím kvalitativní metodologie, technikou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s rodiči dětí s handicapem. Pro výběr respondentů bude použito účelového výběru.

Abstract:

The thesis will analyze a very current topic, namely the issue of resilience factors of a family with a child with a disability. The work will be classically divided into theoretical and practical - research part. In the theoretical part we will deal with the issue of family resilience, ie the ability to cope with adverse life situations and overcome crises. Attention will also be focused on resilience factors in relation to a family with a child with a disability and related concepts such as family, unfavorable life situation, social service, etc. The main goal will be to identify the main resilience factors that help a family with a child with a disability to overcome difficult life situation. The aim of the work will be determined on the basis of the implementation of the practical part, through a qualitative methodology, the technique of semi-structured interviews with parents of children with disabilities. Purposeful selection will be used to select respondents.
