Bakalářská práce objasňuje problematiku sebepoškozování jako akt vykonávaný záměrně, na svém těle, bez pomoci druhé osoby a bez úmyslu zemřít. Pozornost je současně věnována adolescenci, jež je nejvíce kritickým obdobím pro vznik tohoto chování. Dospívající je v tomto období vystaven mnoha změnám biologickým, psychologickým a sociálním. Bachelor thesis is to clarify an issue of self-harm, meant such as act which is practising deliberately on the body without help of anybody else and there´s no intention to die. An attention is focused on the period of adolescence which is the most critical time for creation of this behaviour.
