The use of escape games in the teaching of mathematics at the 1st grade of primary schools.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím únikových her ve výuce na prvním stupni základních škol. Zvažuje jejich výhody a nevýhody a také jejich využívaní po skončení distanční výuky. Na únikové hry je nahlíženo z teoretického pohledu a v empirické části i z pohledu učitelů. Součástí je také přímé pozorování únikových her použitých při výuce. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a empirické. První část shrnuje teorii především ze zahraničních zdrojů. Empirická část je zpracována díky kvalitativnímu výzkumu, konkrétně případové studie. Její součástí jsou polostrukturované rozhory s učiteli, kteří únikové hry využívají ve výuce matematiky na prvním stupni základních škol, přímé pozorování tří únikových her, které byly při výuce požity a analýzy dokumentů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the use of escape games in teaching at the first level of primary schools. It considers their advantages and disadvantages as well as their use after the end of distance education. Escape games are viewed from a theoretical point of view and, in the empirical part, from the point of view of teachers. It also includes direct observation of escape games used in teaching. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. The first part summarizes the theory mainly from foreign sources. The empirical part is elaborated thanks to qualitative research, specifically case studies. It includes semi-structured discussions with teachers who use escape games in mathematics teaching at primary schools, direct observation of three escape games that were used in the lessons, and analyses of documents.
