Abstract:

Základním kamenem této bakalářské práce jsou dvě cechovní knihy ševcovského cechu ve městě Berouně. Jedná se o cechovní protokol a cechovní manuál, které obsahují zápisy pro prací vymezené období. Časové rozmezí, které práce sleduje, začíná roku 1796 a končí roku 1833. Tento rozsah je vybrán ze dvou důvodů. Jedním je fakt, že se jedná o stejné období, jaké sleduje zmíněný cechovní protokol, a také, protože v Berouně v tomto období docházelo k událostem spojeným s proměnou podoby řemeslné výroby a hospodaření ve městě. Práce obsahuje tři kapitoly. První se zabývá historií města Berouna a řemeslnictví v něm, druhá historií cechovnictví a berounskými cechy obecně, a třetí zkoumá už přímo cech ševcovský v Berouně. První dvě kapitoly jsou provedeny zejména pomocí syntézy literatury zaměřené na tato témata, zatímco kapitola o ševcovském cechu čerpá většinově ze zmíněných cechovních knih. Cílem práce je tedy popsat podobu ševcovského cechu v Berouně ve sledovaném období, a zasadit jí do kontextu dějinných událostí ve městě a změn průmyslu probíhajících v těchto letech.

Abstract:

The cornerstone of this bachelor's thesis are two guild books of the shoemakers guild in the city of Beroun. These are a guild protocol and a guild manual, which contain entries from the period this theses focuses on. The time span covered by the thesis begins in 1796 and ends in 1833. This span is chosen for two reasons. One is due to the fact, that this is the same period that the mentioned guild protocol writes about, and also, because events associated with the transformation of craft production and economy took place in Beroun at that time. The thesis contains three chapters. The first describes the history of the city of Beroun and of its crafts, the second the history of guilds iand the guilds in Beroun in general, and the third directly examines the shoemakers guild in Beroun. The first two chapters are made mainly by means of a synthesis of literature written on these topics, while the chapter on the shoemakers guild draws mostly from the aforementioned guild books. The aim of the thesis is therefore to look at the situation of the shoemakers guild in Beroun in the observed period, and examine it in the context of the historical events in the city and the changes to industry in these years.
