Measurement of object size during X-ray examination at different distance of the object from the detector and comparison of the relevance of measurements in two different X-ray documentation viewers.

Abstract:

Hlavní část předložené bakalářské práce je zaměřena na vznik, charakteristiku a průzkum vlastností RTG záření. Význam je kladen zejména na divergentní charakter svazku, neboť tento atribut značně ovlivňuje kvalitu obrazu při radiologickém vyšetření. Další úsek obsahuje teoretický základ popisující prohlížeče RTG dokumentace a následné měření odchylek ve dvou odlišných programech. Cílem bylo zjistit, jaký vliv má na snímek vzdalování od detekčního zařízení a ověřit, zda systémy zpracovávající obrazová data, pracují totožně.

Abstract:

Main part of the submitted bachelor's thesis deals with the genesis, characteristics and examination of the properties of X-ray radiation. The importance is placed especially on the divergence of the beam, due to the considerable effect on the quality of the image during radiological examination. The next section contains the theoretical basis describing the X-ray documentation viewer and the subsequent measurement of deviations of two different programs. The goal was to find out what effect moving away from the detection device has on the image and to verify whether the systems processing the image data work identically.
