Abstract:

Absolventská práce se zabývám tématem prosazování potřeb a zájmů občanů ve městě Šlapanice. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké potřeby a zájmy občané Šlapanic prosazují a zda se objevují i témata pro sociální práci. Výzkum jsem prováděla metodou analýza dokumentu, technikou obsahové analýzy dokumentů vzešlých z iniciativy samosprávy města Šlapanice s cílem zjistit potřeby občanů za účelem vytvoření strategických plánů rozvoje města, střednědobých plánů rozvoje sociálních služeb a za účelem zkvalitňování služeb pečovatelské služby ve Šlapanicích. Absolventská práce je rozdělena do šesti kapitol. V první popisuji komunitní práci z hlediska cílů, znaků, hodnot a principů, kdo jsou aktéři komunitní práce, její fáze a modely. Ve druhé kapitole se zaměřuji na první fázi komunitní práce, tedy na způsob a techniky zjišťování potřeb občanů. Třetí kapitola představuje město Šlapanice z hlediska obecných informací, demografie a sociálních služeb. Ve čtvrté kapitole popisuji metodologii výzkumu. V páté kapitole interpretuji výsledky výzkumu, které vygenerovaly dvě základní priority občanů, dopravu a ekologii, dále prokázaly okrajovost zájmu občanů o sociální témata a nakonec poukázaly na komunitní přístup ze strany samosprávy města. V závěrečné kapitole diskutuji možné příčiny okrajovosti zájmu občanů o sociální témata.

Abstract:

This graduation work focuses on the topic of asserting the needs and interests of citizens in the municipality of Šlapanice. The goal of the work is to characterize what are the needs and interests of Šlapanice’s citizens and determine if those include themes for social work. I conducted the research by the method of documents analyses, with the technique of doing content analysis of documents ensuing from the initiative of the local government of Šlapanice municipality with the goal to characterize the needs of citizens for purposes of creating strategic plans for the municipality’s development, medium-term plans for social services development, and improving the quality of community care services in Šlapanice. The graduation work is divided into six chapters. In the first chapter, I describe the community work from the viewpoint of goals, attributes, values and principles, while identifying the actors involved in community work, its phases and models. In the second chapter, I focus on the first phase of community work, which means the methods and techniques for ascertaining the citizens’ needs. The third chapter presents the municipality of Šlapanice from the viewpoint of general information, demographics and social services. The research methodology is described in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, I interpret the research results, which generated two fundamental priorities of the citizens: transportation and ecology. The results further demonstrated the marginal nature of the citizens’ interest for social themes, and, finally, they make reference to the community approach from the viewpoint of the municipality’s local government.
