Abstract:

PAVOLOVA, Stanislava. The threat of separatism in selected areas of the Western Balkans. [Diploma thesis] University College Prague – University of International Relations and University of Hotel and Economics s.r.o. Bratislava: 2023. 66 pp. In the first chapter of the thesis under the title "The threat of separatism in some areas of the Western Balkans", the author analyses the state of the investigated issue, and then it is devoted to the definitions of key concepts and scientific methods, goals and hypotheses. In the second chapter, the author deals with that threat of the potential security threat of separatism in some areas of the Western Balkans, specifically: Serbia - Preševo Valley, Kosovo, Sandžak, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia. In the third chapter, the author analyses possible scenarios for the development of the security environment in selected areas of the Western Balkans. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of possible hypotheses.

Abstract:

V prvej kapitole diplomovej práce pod názvom „Hrozba separatizmu v niektorých oblastiach západného Balkánu“ autor analyzuje stav skúmanej problematiky, ďalej sa venuje definícií kľúčových pojmov a vedeckých metód, cieľov a hypotéz. V druhej kapitole sa autor zaoberá potencionálnou bezpečnostnou hrozbou separatizmu v niektorých oblastiach západného Balkánu, konkrétne : Srbsko – Preševské údolie, Kosovo, Sandžak, Bosna a Hercegovina, Severné Macedónsko. V tretej kapitole autor analyzuje možné scenáre vývoja bezpečnostného prostredia vo vybraných oblastiach západného Balkánu. Záver diplomovej práce sa venuje hodnoteniu možných hypotéz.
