The Influence of Volunteering on an Individual's Social Status

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Vliv dobrovolnictví na sociální status jedince" pojednává o dobrovolnictví ve vztahu ke společenskému postavení jedince, který se tomuto dobrovolnictví věnuje. První polovina práce přestavuje teoretická východiska, v nichž je přiblížena problematika sociální stratifikace, sociálního statusu a dobrovolnictví. Druhá polovina práce je věnována anketnímu šetření, jehož cílem je zjistit, jak ovlivňuje účast v dobrovolnických aktivitách sociální status jedince. Konkrétně je toto šetření zaměřeno na názory žáků středních škol v Jindřichově Hradci, jež se v dobrovolnictví nikdy neangažovaly.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis entitled "The impact of volunteering to the social status of an individual" is about volunteering in relation to the social status of the individual, which engages in volunteering. The first half of the work represents a theoretical background, in which is explained the issue of social stratification, social status and volunteering. The second half of this work is devoted to the questionnaire survey. The aim of this survey is to find out how the participation in volunteer activities affects the social status of the individual. Specifically, this survey is focused on the views of secondary school students in town Jindřichův Hradec, which never engaged in volunteering.
