Cílem této práci je porovnat strukturu a vývoj veřejného dluhu ČR a Ukrajiny podle doby splatnosti, držitele a typu instrumentu. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem veřejného dluhu, jeho základní členění, příčiny vzniku a růstu, důsledky, měření veřejného dluhu, možnosti řešení a jeho vykazování v mezinárodních systémech.
