The influence of weakened hip joint stabilizers on selected parameters of running

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou oslabených stabilizátorů kyčelního kloubu u běžců. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit vybrané parametry běhu na dynamickém chodníku h/p/cosmos?Rehawalk? u skupiny atletů s oslabenými laterálními stabilizátory kyčelního kloubu. Studie se zúčastnilo 11 probandů (věk 19,4 ? 2 let, výška 177,3 ? 5,6 cm a hmotnost 64,8 ? 9,9 kg), s jednostranným oslabením stabilizátorů kyčelního kloubu. K určení laterální insuficience stabilizátorů kyčelního kloubu byla využita Trendelenburg-Duschenova zkouška. Hodnocení dynamických parametrů běhu bylo provedeno pomocí dynamického chodníku h/p/cosmos? zebris Rehawalk? se softwarem zebris FDM (Force Distribution Measurement, výrobce zebris Medical GmbH, Německo). Vybranými parametry byly hodnoty maximálního silového zatížení, rotace nohy, trvání stojné fáze běhu a trvání švihové fáze běhu. Z výsledků vyplývá, že oslabení laterálních stabilizátorů kyčelního kloubu nemá statisticky významný vliv na vybrané parametry. Přestože nedošlo ke statisticky významným rozdílům, vyskytovala se tendence asymetrie mezi dolními končetinami, což může být rizikovým faktorem zranění.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the issue of weakened stabilizers of the hip joint in runners. The aim of this work was to evaluate selected running parameters on the h/p/cosmos?Rehawalk? dynamic treadmill in a group of athletes with weakened lateral stabilizers of the hip joint. 11 subjects participated in the study (age 19.4 ? 2 years, height 177.3 ? 5.6 cm and weight 64.8 ? 9.9 kg), with unilateral weakening of the hip joint stabilizers participated in the study. The Trendelenburg-Duschen test was used to determine the lateral insufficiency of the hip stabilizers. Assessment of dynamic running parameters was performed using the h/p/cosmos?Rehawalk? dynamic treadmill with zebris FDM software (Force Distribution Measurement, manufactured by zebris Medical GmbH, Germany). The selected parameters were the values of maximum force, foot rotation, duration of the stance phase and the swing phase of running. The results show that the weakening of the lateral stabilizers of the hip joint does not statisticaly significantly affect the selected parameters. Although there were no statistically significant differences, there was a tendency for lower limb asymmetry, which may be a risk factor for injury.
