Manifestations of Hyperkinetic Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity in Adulthood

Abstract:

Studie kvalitativního charakteru se zaměřuje na projevy hyperkinetické poruchy pozornosti s hyperaktivitou v dospělosti. Výzkumná otázka zkoumá, jak projevy hyperkynetické poruchy s hyperaktivitou ovlivňují sociální dovednosti těchto jedinců. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretické informace o poruše. Jsou zde uvedena mimo jiné i etiologie a diagnostická kritéria. Druhá část práce je věnována výzkumu. Výzkum byl prováděn kvalitativní metodou formou rozhovorů. Byl zaměřen především na osobní zkušenosti dospělých lidí s hyperkinetickou poruchou pozornosti. Z výzkumu vzešly výsledky, které potvrdily informace, uvedené v odborné literatuře. Díky osobním zkušenostem respondentů je možné nahlédnout do jejich životů a snáze tak pochopit s jakými obtížemi se potýkají.

Abstract:

Abstract The qualitative character study focuses on the the manifestations of the the hyperkinetic attention disorder with hyperactivity in adult age. The research question is concetrated on the effects of the disorder on social skills of such individuals. The first part of the study deals with theoretical information on the disorder. The etiology and diagnostic criteria are mentioned as well. The second part of the study is dedicated to the research. The research was carried out using the qualitative method in the formo f dialogues. The research maily focusd on personal experience of adults with the hyperkinetic attention disorder. Based on personal experience of the respondents, the study enables us not only to take a deep look into their lives but also to understand better what kind of problems they have to deal with.
