Application of Methods of Industrial Engineering in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je uplatnění metod průmyslového inženýrství ve vybrané společnosti. Cílem této práce je zvýšení produktivity výrobního procesu o 10%. Analýza výrobního procesu je prováděna pomocí snímku pracovního dne, časových náměrů, nestandardizovaných rozhovorů, dotazování a dat získaných z informačního systému společnosti. Na základě této analýzy jsou v projektové části práce navržena řešení pro eliminaci plýtvání a zvýšení produktivity. Následně je vyhodnocena produktivita před a po zavedení zlepšení a také finanční zhodnocení navrhovaných opatření.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis is the application of methods of industrial engineering in a selected company. The aim of this thesis is to increase productivity of the production process by 10 %. The analysis of the production process is illustrated by a snapshot of the working day, time measurements, non - standard conversations, questioning ańd data gained from information system of the company. On the basis of this analysis, in the project part of the thesis, are suggested solutions for the elimination of wasting and the increase of the productivity are suggested. Afterwards the productivity before and after implementation improvements is evaluated and also there is a financial assessment of sugessted measures.
