Application portfolio of a small company through the lens of the TIME model

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit TIME modelem stav aplikačního portfolia v malé společnosti, která poskytuje služby elektroinstalačních montážních prací. V první kapitole je identifikace současného stavu poznání daného tématu, formulace východisek a přiblížení jmenovaného TIME modelu. V další kapitole je stanovena metodika pro dosažení cíle práce. Konkrétně je rozdělena do částí přípravy výzkumu, sběru dat, zpracování do TIME modelu a prezentace, interpretace a vyhodnocení dat. Třetí kapitola se věnuje již samotnému aplikačnímu portfoliu společnosti, tedy použití stanovené metodiky pro sběr dat, jejich zpracování do TIME modelu a nakonec prezentace, interpretace a vyhodnocení dat. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty hlavní poznatky, provedeno jejich zhodnocení a provedena polemika nad výsledky šetření.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the state of the application portfolio in a small company that provides electrical installation services using the TIME model. The first chapter identifies the current state of knowledge of the topic, formulates the background and approximates the named TIME model. The next chapter sets out the methodology for achieving the thesis objective. Specifically, it is divided into the parts of research preparation, data collection, processing into the TIME model and data presentation, interpretation and evaluation. The third chapter is devoted to the company's application portfolio itself, i.e. the application of the established methodology for data collection, processing into the TIME model and finally presentation, interpretation and evaluation of the data. The paper concludes with a summary of the main findings, an evaluation of the findings and a discussion of the results.
