Use of elements of acral coactivation therapy in physiotherapy of the knee joint

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím akrální koaktivační terapie u pacientů s valgózními koleny. Tato bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsána podstata a princip akrální koaktivační terapie. V další kapitole je popsána anatomie kolenního kloubu. Poslední část teoretické části popisuje princip a příčiny vzniku valgozity kolen. Praktická část této bakalářské práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku sledovaného souboru a metodiku práce. Dále je zde popsána cvičební jednotka, která se skládá z prvků akrální koaktivačkní terapie s názornými ukázkami cviků. Je zde i detailněji popsán přístroj, kterým bylo celé měření prováděno. Závěrem této práce jsou v tabulce vyobrazeny výsledky měření dva a dvaceti respondentů před a po šesti týdnech cvičení, diskuse nad zadanými hypotézami a závěr práce. Vyhodnocení výsledků prokázalo pravdivost mých hypotéz. Potvrdilo, že vybrané prvky akrální koaktivační terapie dokážou částečně ovlivnit jak osové deformity, tak i rozložení váhy na jednotlivé končetiny.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of acral coactivation therapy in patients with valgus knees. This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the nature and principle of acral coactivation therapy. The next chapter describes the anatomy of the knee joint. The last part of the theoretical part describes the principle and causes of knee valgus. The practical part of this bachelor's thesis is focused on the characteristics of the sample and the methodology of the work. Furthermore, an exercise unit is described here, which consists of elements of acral coactivation therapy with illustrative examples of exercises. There is also a more detailed description of the device by which the entire measurement was performed. At the end of this work, the table shows the results of measurements of two and twenty respondents before and after six weeks of exercises, discussions of the hypotheses and the conclusion of the work. The evaluation of the results proved the truth of my hypotheses. It confirmed that selected elements of acral coactivation therapy can partially affect both axial deformities and weight distribution to individual limbs.
