Modern Methods of Internal Audit and Risk Management in Business Practice

Abstract:

Interní audit je již ve většině společností standardem pro zkoumání efektivnosti vnitropodnikových procesů. Práce nastiňuje, jaké moderní metody interní audit využívá a ukazuje jejich časovou náročnost v praxi. V teoretické části pomocí literární rešerše analyzujeme interní audit, rozdíl mezi jeho moderním a tradičním pojetím, dále etický kodex auditorů a v neposlední řadě proces řízení rizik a jeho metody. Praktická část je rozdělena na několik podkapitol, které se zabývají představením společnosti, řízením rizik a provedením interního auditu selektivních distribučních smluv a jeho vyhodnocení. Na závěr je zde vyhodnocení, doporučení a zpráva auditora, která je bez výhrad. Veškerá zjištění pomohou udržet se dané společnosti v konkurenčním prostředí.

Abstract:

Internal audit is already the standard in most companies for examining the efficiency of in-house processes. The thesis will outline what modern methods the internal audit uses and shows their time demands in practice. In the theoretical part, we will use the literature search to introduce the internal audit, the difference between its modern and traditional concept, the ethical code of auditors and last but not least the risk management process and its methods. The practical part is divided into several sub-chapters dealing with company presentation, risk management and internal audit of selective distribution contracts in the company and its evaluation. Finally, there is an assessment, recommendation, and auditor's report that is unqualified. All findings will help keep the company competitive.
