The formation of relationship between the social worker and client in low-treshold institution for children and youth

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce je zaměřena na utváření vztahu mezi sociálním pracovníkem a klientem v nízkoprahovém zařízení pro děti a mládež z pohledu samotných pracovníků nízkoprahových zařízení. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež a charakteristice jeho klientů. Pozornost, je zde věnována vymezení sociálního pracovníka, jeho dovednostem a předpokladům pro práci a také typologii rolí sociálních pracovníků. Součástí teoretického vymezení je také vydefinování vztahu v sociální práci, jeho vývoje a dilemat, která v procesu utváření vztahu s klientem pracovníci řeší. Empirická část si klade za cíl využít kvalitativní metodologie a objasnit a popsat jak nahlížejí na utváření vztahu s klienty samotní pracovníci a s jakými úskalími se v jeho průběhu potýkají.

Abstract:

The Master´s thesis is focused on formation of relationship between social worker and client in low-treshold institution for children and youth from the socialworkers perspective. Theoretical part is devoted to defining the low-treshold institution for children and youth and the characteristics of its clients. Attention is paid to the definition of social worker, his skills and predispositions for work and also to the typology of social workers roles. Part of the theoretical definition is also the defining of relationship in social work, its evolution and dilemmas, which social workers solves in the process of relationship formation. The empirical part aims to use the qualitative metodology and clarify and describe how the social workers themselves regarded on the formation of relationship and with wich difficulties they contend in its process.
