Řasy mají schopnost přežít v extrémních podmínkách, což je činí klíčovými primárními producenty v mnoha ekosystémech. Abstract:
Algae have the ability to survive in extreme conditions, making them key primary producers in many ecosystems. They have evolved several mechanisms to achieve this ability, one of which is the production of carotenoid pigments.
