Tasks for development of algorithmic thinking at primary schools

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozvoj algoritmického myšlení na prvním stupni základních škol. Práce se zabývá vzdělávací oblastí Informatika i nově zařazeným digitálním kompetencím, které vznikly revizí Rámcově vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání v roce 2021 a porovnává ji s původní vzdělávací oblastí Informační a komunikační technologie. Součástí je i přehled modelů pro školy, které slouží jako pomůcka při tvorbě Školních vzdělávacích programů. Dále definuje pojmy jako je informatické a algoritmické myšlení, algoritmus, jeho požadavky a vyjádření. Zahrnuje dostupné podpory do výuky jako jsou učebnice, webové stránky a portály pro učitele i žáky, které lze v hodinách informatiky využít. V praktické části je soubor aktivit podporující algoritmické myšlení, které může být přínosem pro učitele do výuky informatiky. Pracovní listy jsou rozděleny podle typu, stručně definovány a popsány jednotlivé aktivity. V závěru následuje jejich ověření v praxi včetně implementace.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the education of algorithmic thinking at primary schools. The thesis deals with the educational field of Informatics and the newly included digital competences that arose from the revision of the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education in 2021 and compares it with the original educational field of Information and Communication Technology. It also includes an overview of models for schools, which serve as an aid in the creation of school education programs. It further defines terms such as informatics and algorithmic thinking, algorithm, its requirements and expressions. It includes awaylable teaching aids such as textbooks, websites and portals for both teachers and students that can be used in computer science classes. In the practical part, there is a set of worksheets supporting algorithmic thinking, which can be beneficial for teachers in the teaching of computer science. Worksheets are divided by type, briefly defined and described in individual activities. In the end, their verification in practise, including implementation follows.
