Sovereignism as a challenge for the internal security of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vymezením suverenismu jakožto nového fenoménu v oblasti politického extremismu a hodnotí se jeho rizika pro vnitřní bezpečnost České republiky. Soustředí se hlavně na skupinu nazývající se Legitimní věřitelé České republiky, ale hledá také kořeny tohoto fenoménu, které lze najít ve Spojených státech (Hnutí suverénních občanů) - proto se v práci mluví i o americkém suverenismu a popisují se principy zde vytvořeného tzv. papírového terorismu, za ten je považováno např. užívání falešných a nelegální a osobních dokumentů či padělání důkazů. Odpovídá na otázky, jak se suverenisté chovají ke státním institucím, jak se prezentují navenek a jak fungují interně, jak jsou financováni, jak fungují na mezinárodní bázi. Práce také zkoumá, co už lze označit za rizikové chování z pohledu bezpečnosti státu a ochrany veřejného pořádku.

Abstract:

This work deals with the definition of sovereignism as a new phenomenon in the field of political extremism and evaluates its risks for the internal security of the Czech Republic. It mainly focuses on a group called Legitimate Creditors of the Czech Republic, but also looks for the roots of this phenomenon, which can be found in the United States (Movement of Sovereign Citizens) - that is why the work also talks about American sovereignism and describes the principles of the so-called paper terrorism created here. the use of false and illegal and personal documents or falsification of evidence is considered as such. It answers the questions of how sovereignists treat state institutions, how they present themselves externally and how they function internally, how they are financed, how they function on an international basis. The work also examines what can already be described as risky behavior from the point of view of state security and public order protection.
