Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na pojetí prostoru ve fantastickém románu J. J. Kolára Pekla zplozenci a romanetu J. Arbesa Svatý Xaverius. V úvodní části je vymezen pojem literární prostor a žánrová charakteristika. Následně jsou obě díla rozebrána z hlediska literárněvědné kategorie prostoru. The Master´s thesis is focused on the concept of space in the fantasy novel Pekla zplozenci written by J. J. Kolár and in the romanetto Svatý Xaverius written by J. Arbes. In the first part the concept of space and characteristic of genre are defined. In the following part both works are analysed from the point of literary category of space.
