Gamaspectrometric characteristic of the Bites gneiss in the profiles along Bobrava and Bílý potok

Abstract:

Na základě leteckého měření gamaspektrometrie byl v roce 2005 vytvořen soubor geofyzikálních map z vybraného úseku rosicko-oslavanské pánve. V těchto mapách je znázorněno i těleso bítešské ruly, které se zdá být poměrně homogenní. Cílem práce bylo pomocí terénního a laboratorního gamaspektrometrického měření zjistit, do jaké míry se naměřené hodnoty shodují s výsledky leteckého měření. Podle tohoto srovnání se měla určit homogenita bítešské ruly ve studovaných oblastech. Z naměřených hodnot bylo zjištěno, že bítešská rula je poměrně homogenní a vykazuje na granitoidní horninu velmi nízké hodnoty radioaktivního záření.

Abstract:

In 2005 a set of geophysical maps of the selected section Rosice-Oslavany basin was set up. It was based on measurements of air-borne gamma ray spectrometry. The body of Bíteš gneiss, which can be seen on these maps, seems to be relatively homogeneous. The goal of this work was to use field and laboratory gamma spectrometric measurements to determine how much the measured values correspond with the results of air-borne measurements. This comparison should determine the homogenity of Bíteš gneiss in the studied areas. The main result of this work is observation, that Bíteš gneiss is relatively homogeneous and for the granitoid rock has very low levels of gamma radiation.
