The relationship between environmental and technological literacy - qualitative analysis of pre-service primary teachers

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je environmentální a technická gramotnost studentů učitelství pro 1. stupeň ZŠ na Pedagogické fakultě Univerzity J. E. Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem. Teoretická část práce se zabývá pojmem gramotnost nejprve obecně, posléze je zaměřena na environmentální a technickou výchovu. Cílem praktické části práce je zjistit pojetí vztahu těchto dvou gramotností a vytvořit z nich vycházející hypotézy. Dále bylo cílem zjistit propojenost obou klíčových kategorií výzkumu u témat běžných, ale i formálních. Získávání dat je realizováno metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Následné zpracování a vyhodnocení je provedeno pomocí otevřeného kódování s využitím výpočetní techniky.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the environmental and technical literacy of primary school teaching students at the Faculty of Education of J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The theoretical part of thesis introduces the general term of literacy at the beginning and then deals with the environmental and technical training. The purpose of the practical part is to look into the concepts of the relationship between these two literacies and create a hypothesis. A sub-aim of the thesis is to determine the links between the two key research categories, both in common and formal topics. Data are collected via semi-structured interviews and processed and evaluated using computer technology-based open coding.
