Use of Interactive Whiteboard to Develop Communication Competences from the Perspective of Students

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce je využití interaktivní tabule pro rozvoj komunikačních kompetencí z pohledu studentů. Teoretická část práce vymezuje nejdůležitější termíny potřebné pro výzkum. Výzkumné šetření v rámci bakalářské práce je kvantitativního charakteru a proběhlo za využití dotazníkové metody. Dotazník byl studentům speciální pedagogiky, se zaměřením na logopedii, poskytnut v elektronické podobě. V bakalářské práci je podrobná analýza všech položek dotazníku. Ten se zabýval využitím technických a digitálních pomůcek, převážně interaktivní tabule, ve speciálním školství. Výzkum přinesl poznatky o zkušenostech studentů s interaktivní tabulí vůbec a s jejím využitím při logopedické intervenci. Dotazník směřoval ke zjištění, zda mají studenti zkušenost s využitím interaktivní tabule při rozvoji komunikačních kompetencí, případně zda by se s touto možností chtěli seznámit blíže.

Abstract:

The main topic of this undergraduate thesis is the use of interactive whiteboard for communicational competency development, seen from students’ point of view. The theoretical part of this study determines the most important key words. This research is of a quantitative character and was done using a method of questionnaires. Electronically presented list of questions was given to students of special pedagogy with a major in speech therapy. A detailed analysis of all elements mentioned in the questionnaire is part of this undergraduate thesis. The main concern was the use of technical and digital instruments, in most cases the use of interactive whiteboard, in special schools. This research evaluates the level of student’s experience with interactive whiteboards, specifically during speech therapy intervention. The main point of this questionnaire was realizing, if our students have experience with interactive whiteboard while dealing with communicational skills development, and if they are interested in getting to know this method.
