A Comparative Study of Foreign Words and Phrases in Tourism Industry Terminology of Croatian and Czech
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou slov cizího původu v terminologii cestovního ruchu v chorvatštině ve srovnání s češtinou. Analýza je zaměřena především na původ, význam a adaptaci slova do jazykového systému chorvatštiny a češtiny. Také jsou porovnávány výklady slovníků daných jazyků na tato slova.
Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis is dealing with a comparative analysis of foreign words and phrases (such as loan-words, calques), in tourism industry terminology in the Croatian and Czech languages. The analysis focuses on etymology, i.e. origin and adaptation of lexical units, and deals with semantics, exploring the meaning of lexical units in both, Croatian and Czech language systems.
