Clouds were imprinted on my soul. On the importance of prinmaking in time of flats screens.

Abstract:

Do mojí duše se otiskly mraky je výtvarně-teoreticko-pedagogický projekt. Teoretická část O důležitosti grafiky v době plochých obrazovek je věnována pozici grafické tvorby v současném umění. V textu se autorka ptá, jestli je grafika živá a aktuální technika, jakým způsobem s ní umělci zachází a jak je možné ji vyučovat. Snaží se nastínit proměnu grafických technik, k níž dochází pod vlivem digitálních technologií, a popisuje nové formy grafického umění. Teoretická část obsahuje i popis výtvarného cyklu Mraky a v dalším svazku je doplněna o podrobný didaktický projekt, Vidím – Kreslím – Fotím – Tisknu, ve kterém jsou uplatněny stejné výtvarné techniky. Papírotisk popisuje třetí svazek Papírotisk – magie mezi tiskárnou a litografickým kamenem.

Abstract:

Clouds were imprinted on my soul is a type of project combining a variety of artistic, theoretic as well as educational features. The theoreti-cal part On the importance of printmaking in time of flat screens is devoted to the role of printmaking in contemporary art. The author addresses whether printmaking is still a viable and modern technique, how artists understand it, and considers the options and forms it can be taught. She attempts to provide insights into how printmaking techniques have changed over time owing to digital technologies and also describes new forms of printmaking. In addition, the theoretical part comprises the description of the cycle of graphic prints Clouds and is followed by a comprehensive didactic project titled I see – I draw – I take a picture – I print using the corresponding art techni-ques. Transfer print technique is characterized in the third part Transfer print – magic be-tween a laser print and lithography stone.
