Help to mothers expecting a child with disability

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje pomoci matkám čekajícím dítě s postižením. Cílem mé práce je zmapovat dosavadní pomoc, která je těmto matkám nabízena a zjistit, které služby využívají, jaké okolnosti je k tomu přivedly, popřípadě jaká pomoc jim naopak chyběla. V práci postupuji nejdříve uvedením čtenáře do problematiky, ve které charakterizuji druhy zdravotního postižení a rizikové faktory objevující se v těhotenství. Dále se v teoretické části věnuji roli sociálního pracovníka při pomoci ženám čekajícím dítě s postižením a systému sociální pomoci, který je těmto ženám nabízen. Systém pomoci jsem rozdělila na sociální služby a na finanční pomoc, která je poskytována státem. V aplikační části uvádím podpůrnou síť pomoci, která je těmto ženám poskytována. Následně se zabývám komparací modelových situací klientek Azylového domu pro ženy a matky s dětmi v Ostravě. V závěru práce se věnuji zjištěným poznatkům o dosavadně nabízené pomoci těmto ženám, které jim byly v průběhu těhotenství poskytovány.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with assistance mothers waiting for a child with disability. The aim of the thesis is to map the exist help offered to these women and find out what services they using, what circumstances bring them into it, eventually what help they missed. In my work I first introduce the reader to the problems in which I charakterize the types of disability and risk factors occurring in pragnency. Further in the theoretical part I deal with the role of social worker in help to women waiting for a child with disability and the system of social assistance which is offered to these women. I divided this system into social services and into the financial assistance provided by the government. In application part, I present the existing assistance network of support offered to these women. Further I deal with the comparations of models situations of clients in Refuge for women and mothers with childrenin Ostrava. In the summary of this bachelor thesis I work with findings about actual offering help for these women, which was provided to them during pregnancy.
