Mathematical curves in physical problems
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme některým matematickým křivkám, vznikajících jako řešení klasických fyzikálních problémů. Řešíme rovnice popisující pohyb částice při šikmém vrhu vzhůru, tvar řetězu při volném prověšení a pohyb dvou velkých těles navzájem se ovlivňujících přitažlivou silou. Abstract:
In this thesis we study the mathematical curves, which are solution of classical physical problems. We discover equations of projectile motion, the catenary and two-body problem. We discuss the cykloid and the brachistochrone’s and tautochrone’s tasks. We explore pursuit curve and the traktrix, and we describe Tschirnhausen cubic.
