Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vyjádření kategorie určenosti "definiteness" v anglickém, českém a čínském jazyce. Tyto jazyky byly vybrány proto, že zastupují dvě různé jazykové skupiny - jazyky, které mají členy (angličtina) a jazyky, které členy nemají (čeština a čínština).
