The effectiveness of Napoleonic-era small arms compared to the modern infantry weapons of the current armed forces

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu účinnosti ručních palných zbraní napoleonské éry ve srovnání s moderními zbraněmi pěchoty současných ozbrojených sborů. V teoretické části je zaměřena na seznámení s taktikou boje, konstrukcí zbraní, balistikou zbraní a ranivými účinky ručních palných zbraní z pohledu teorie (výuka vojáků) a praxe (cvičení a bojové nasazení). V praktické části na základě experimentu postřelováním bloků náhradního materiálu, uvidíme vzniklé jednotlivé střelné kanály a vyhodnotíme ranivost. Zbraně jsou důkazem vývoje civilizace a lidského společenství.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the effectiveness of small arms of the Napoleonic era in comparison with modern infantry weapons of the current armed forces. The theoretical part is focused on acquaintance with combat tactics, weapon design, weapon ballistics and the wounding effects of small arms from the perspective of theory (training soldiers) and practice (exercises and combat deployment). In the practical part, based on an experiment by firing blocks of replacement material, we will see the individual firing channels and evaluate the wound. Weapons are evidence of the development of civilization and human community.
