Evaluation and interpretation of mixed forensic samples by the fragment analysis of STR polymorphisms under conditions of the QA framework
Abstract:
Biologické vzorky lidského původu nesou ve forenzní aplikaci analýzy DNA určité specifické vlastnosti. Jednou z nich je častý výskyt směsí biologického materiálu pocházejících od dvou či více osob. Tyto vzorky vyžadují individuální přístup při volbě izolace DNA se zvážením předpokládané hodnoty finálních výsledků fragmentační analýzy STR.
Abstract:
Biological samples of human origin carry specific characteristics in the application of forensic DNA analysis. One of them is the frequent occurrence of mixtures of biological material from two or more persons.These samples require an individual approach in the choice of DNA isolation together with consideration of the expected value for the final results of STR fragmentation analysis.
