Canistherapy and it‘ s positive effects for children with combined disabilities and epilepsy

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the impact of canis therapy on children with combined disabilities and epilepsy. This thesis has been devided into three chapters. Tha nature of first chapter is theoretical. There are described the combined disabilities, epilepsy, education oportunities and support specifics in this chapter. In second chapter, canis therapy is described in it, it´s history, dog´s role and many oportunities of usage and utilization of canis therapy. The third chapter has empirical character. It has been formed by qualitative research and information from observation and interviews during my participation on canis therapy is processed in here. The goal of this thesis was to identify the positive effect of canis therapy on children with combiden disabilities and epilepsy during regular participation on this therapy.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca pojednáva o vplyve canisterapie na deti s viacnásobným postihnutím a epilepsiou. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol. Prvá kapitola má teoretický charakter. Je v nej opísané viacnásobné postihnutie, epilepsia, možnosti vzdelávania a špecifiká podpory žiakov s postihnutím. V druhej kapitole je opísaná canisterapia, jej história, je tu popísaná úloha psa v tejto terapii a rôzne možnosti uplatnenia a využitia canisterapie. Tretia kapitola je empirického charakteru. Je tvorená kvalitatívnym výskumným šetrením a s ú v nej spracované informácie z pozorovania a rozhovorov počas mojej účasti na tejto terapii. Cieľom tejto práce bolo zistiť aký je pozitívny efekt canisterapie na deti s viacnásobným postihnutím a epilepsiou pri jej pravidelnom absolvovaní.
