The taxation of motor vehicles in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Zdanění provozu motorových vozidel v České Republice“ se zabývá legislativní úpravou zdanění motorových vozidel a definováním pojmů, které s daným tématem úzce souvisí. Seznamuje s jednotlivými způsoby zdanění v České republice v porovnání s vybranými zeměmi Evropské unie. V aplikační části je proveden výpočet silniční daně a mýtného u vybrané přepravní společnosti s návrhem možné optimalizace nákladů souvisejících s provozem motorových vozidel. V závěrečné části je provedena komparace zdanění provozu motorových vozidel se zeměmi Evropské unie.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Taxation of motor vehicles in the Czech Republic” is concerned with the legislative forms of taxation of motor vehicle and defining terms which are closely related with this topic. Furthermore, the thesis introduces the various types of taxation in the Czech Republic in comparison with selected countries of the European Union. There is made calculation of road tax and toll within the selected company. Where is the main aim reaching to creation a proposal for a possible optimization of costs related to the operation of motor vehicles. The final part is given to the comparison of taxation of motor vehicles with the selected countries of the European Union.
