Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se zabývám autorem první poloviny 20. století, Karlem Matějem Čapkem-Chodem. Zaměřuji se na dílo Větrník, které není čtenářům až tak známo, a to je také důvod, proč jsem si tohle téma vybrala. Cílem mé práce je přiblížit tohle často opomíjené dílo čtenářům. Má práce je rozdělena do jednotlivých kapitol, ve kterých se zaměřuji jak na život samotného autora a jeho tvorbu, tak na charakteristiku postav, prostředí, jazyk a celkově všechny aspekty týkající se díla Větrník. Zároveň přibližuji literární období a směr, ve kterém autor tvořil, což čtenáři značně pomůže k lepšímu pochopení díla.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on Karel Matěj Čapek-Chod, author of the first half of the 20th century . I focus on the novel Větrník, which is not so familiar to readers, and that's why I chose this topic. The aim of the thesis is to introduce this neglected piece to readers. My work is divided into individual chapters, in which I focus on the life of the author and his work, as well as on the characteristics of the characters, environment, language and all aspects of the work Větrník.. Moreover, I describe the literary period and direction typical for the author, which will help the reader to better understand the work.
