The Thing, object, artifakt

Abstract:

Název této práce je zároveň hlavním tématem. Výsledný umělecký výstup zahrnuje soubor obrazů, objektů a nakonec také médium instalace. Doprovodný text představuje nejprve samotné pojmy-předmět, objekt a artefakt. Především se však zabývá jejich rolemi na poli výtvarného umění, konkrétně v oblasti malířství. Důležitou součástí je tak vhled(náhled)do historie zobrazování obyčejných věcí denní potřeby, především prostřednictvím námětu zátiší. Skrze tento náhled je pak možné nastínit souvislosti mezi zátiším a vznikem objektové tvorby počátkem 20. století. Výše specifikovaný umělecký výstup je inspirován jak klasickým zátiším, tak objektovou tvorbou. V neposlední řadě práce zahrnuje kapitolu věnovanou praktickému využití tématu v oblasti pedagogiky.

Abstract:

The title of the thesis serves as the main topic of the work at the same time. The final artistic output includes a collection of pictures, units and the medium of the fittings too. Firstly, the accompanying text introduces terms – an object, a unit and an artefact, but mainly it deals with their roles on the field of fine arts, namely in the sphere of painting. Another important part of the work is the view of how thing of everyday use were depicted in the past, mainly through the theme of a still-life painting. Through this view it is possible to outline the link between a still-life painting and the development of the unit creation at the beginning of the 20th century. The artistic output mentioned above is inspired not only by the original still-life painting, but also unit creation. Finally, the thesis includes chapter devoted to practical usage of the topic in the pedagogical process.
