Abstract:
The aim of thesis is to answer the research question, if the participation of France in UN peacekeeping in Africa is influenced by former colonial ties. The relations between France and sub-Saharan Africa are analyzed through the theory of realism with the special focus on their mutual ties and French interests in the region. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zodpovedať výskumnú otázku, či je participácia Francúzska na udržovaní mieru OSN v subsaharskej Afrike ovplyvnená koloniálnymi väzbami.
