The Civil society and participation in the town of Hranice

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá občanskou společností ve městě Hranice z hlediska minulosti i současnosti. Teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly s pojmy občan, občanství a pojem občanská společnost a její vývoj. Dále tato část obsahuje kapitolu o historii a současnosti města Hranice Praktická část se věnuje analýze občanské společnosti ve městě Hranice. Konkrétně se věnuje činnosti města, školských zařízení, církve, armády a spolků. Závěr této části se zabývá analýzou komunálních voleb ve městě Hranice. Informace k této práci jsme čerpali především z odborné literatury a z webových stránek jednotlivých institucí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the civil society in the city Hranice from the perspective of past and present. The theoretical part includes chapters connected with terms citizen, citizenship and civil society and its development. This part deals with the history of the city. The Practical part is an analysis of the civil society in Hranice. Specifically, the analysis is dedicated to public, school, church, army and public association activities. The conclusion of the thesis is focused on the analysis of communal election in Hranice. The information was taken from professional literature and from sites of the institutions.
