Analysis of material transportation by road freight transport in the selected enterprise

Abstract:

Abstrakt Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a aplikační část. Teoretická část seznamuje s teoretickými poznatky z oblasti dopravních pojmů, dopravy obecně a je využita sekundární analýza dat. Jsou vymezeny dopravní systémy a na jejich daném základě charakterizována silniční doprava. Dále je vymezena logistika. Teoretická část je také zaměřena na zákon o provozu na pozemních komunikacích a i na mezinárodní smlouvy v silniční dopravě. V rámci uvedených smluv je krátce přiblížen obsah Úmluvy o přepravní smlouvě, je specifikována mezinárodní doprava a kategorizace nákladních silničních vozidel. V aplikační části je zkoumána přeprava konkrétního druhu materiálu silniční nákladní dopravou ve vybraném podniku a navržena doporučení v kontextu racionalizace dané přepravy. Jedná se o firmu přepravující stavební materiál v období čtvrtletí říjen až prosinec 2015 s využitím třech různých typů automobilů. Bude zkoumáno jejich využití nosnosti a jízd, využití řidičů dle pracovní doby, efektivnost využití, skutečná spotřeba a úspora paliva dále, náklady a tržby. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat přepravu konkrétního druhu materiálu silniční nákladní dopravou ve vybraném podniku a navrhnout doporučení v kontextu racionalizace dané přepravy.

Abstract:

Abstract Bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and application part. The theoretical part presents the theoretical knowledge from the field of transport terms, transport in general and the secondary data analysis is utilized. Particular ransport systems are defined and on their basis, road transport is characterized. Subsequently, the concept of logistics is defined. Also, the theoretical part is focused on the Law on Road Traffic and on international agreements in road transport. Within the mentioned agreements, the contents of the Convention on the Contract is described, international transport and categorization of road freight vehicles are specified. In the application part, the particular type of material transportation by road freight transport in the selected company is investigated and recommendations in the context of the rationalization of the particular carriage are proposed. This is the company that is transported the construction material during the quarter from October to December 2015 using three different types of vehicles. Utilization of their capacity and journeys, the use of drivers by the working time, efficiency, the real fuel consumption and its savings, costs and revenues are examined. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the transportation of the particular type of material by road freight transport in the selected company and to propose the recommendations in the context of rationalization of the particular carriage.
