Abstract:

Abstrakt Cílem diplomové práce „Oběti phishingu v kriminologii“ je zjistit a vyjmenovat faktory, které jsou příčinou masivního nárůstu obětí phishingových útoků v ČR v roce 2022 a to v období od začátku března roku 2022 do konce prosince roku 2022. Ke splnění svého cíle je diplomová práce rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a praktickou. Účelem teoretické části práce je popsat a vysvětlit všechny podstatné činitele phishingových útoků jak z pohledu kriminologie a kyberprostoru, tak uvedení aktuálních informací k této problematice z pohledu policejního orgánu. Autor v teoretické části diplomové práce čerpá jak z českých, tak zahraničních pramenů. Teoretická část obsahuje šest kapitol. První kapitola práce se zabývá kyberprostorem a kyberkriminalitou, jako základními vstupními atributy, na jejichž podkladě vznikl a existuje současný phishing. Druhá kapitola popisuje pojem phishingu, jeho historický vývoj a vyjmenovává jeho současné podoby. Třetí kapitola se zabývá pachateli phishingových útoků a trestných činů s nimi souvisejících. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnována obětem phishingu jak z pohledu kriminologie, tak z pohledu policejního orgánu. Pátá kapitola provádí stručný právní rozbor trestných činů páchaných v souvislosti s phishingem. Poslední kapitola je určena protiphishingové prevenci, jakožto jediného eliminačního nástroje, kterým lze oslabit kriminogenní faktory phishingových útoků. Praktická část práce je tvořena jednou kapitolou a je rozdělena do tři podkapitol. V první podkapitole jsou popsány případy phishingových útoků ve formě případových studií. Následující druhá podkapitola se zabývá kvalitativním šetřením k phishingové problematice, která je provedena s respondenty formou dotazníkového šetření. Závěrečná podkapitola praktické části práce je určena vyhodnocení výsledků předchozích dvou podkapitol.

Abstract:

Abstract The aim of this thesis “Victims of Phishing in Criminology” is to found out and list the factors which are the cause of the massive increase of phishing attacks in the Czech Republic in 2022, in the period from the beginning of March 2022 to the end of December 2022. In order to fulfil its goal, the thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The purpose of the theoretical part is both to describe and explain all the crucial factors of phishing attacks from the point of view of cyberspace and criminology, and to present the current information to the issue from the point of view of police authority. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the author draws from both Czech and foreign sources. The theoretical part contains six chapters. The first chapter deals with cyberspace and cybercrime, as the elementary input attributes on the basis of which phishing originated and exists today. The second chapter describes the concept of phishing, its historical evolution, and it lists its current forms. The third chapter deals with the perpetrators of phishing attacks and crimes related to them. The fourth chapter is dedicated to victims of phishing from the point of view both of criminology and police authority. The fifth chapter provides a brief legal analysis of crimes committed in relation with phishing. The last chapter is dedicated to anti-phishing prevention, as the only elimination tool able to weaken the criminogenic factors of phishing attacks. The practical part of the thesis consists of one chapter divided into three subchapters. In the first subchapter cases of phishing attacks are described in the form of case studies. The following subchapter deals with a quality investigation into the phishing issue, which is carried out with respondents in a questionnaire survey. The final subchapter of the practical part of the thesis is intended to evaluate the results of the previous two subchapters.
