This bachelor thesis discusses fan fiction, a literary subgenre concerning fan written texts based on canonical sources. The aim of this thesis is to outline the origin and development of this phenomenon, describe its literary audience ? fan communities ? and create a guide containing the main types and characteristics of fan fiction. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o fan fiction, literárním subžánru zabývajícím se texty fanoušků, které vždy vycházejí z původních zdrojů, což jsou v tomto případě jimi oblíbená literární díla.
