Práce pojednává o základech fyziky a kosmologie Reného Descarta. V první části je stručně vyložena Descartova teorie hmoty a mechanika v kontextu mechanistické filosofie 17. století, na něž posléze ve druhé, kosmologické části navazuje výklad o rozlišení hmoty do tří elementů, o kosmogenezi, teorii vírů, vysvětlení pohybů nebeských těles, o základních charakteristikách světla, slunečních skvrn a o …more
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the basic principles of René Descartes’ physics and cosmology. In the first part, Descartes’s matter theory and mechanics are briefly explained. The second part discusses cosmogenesis, division of matter into three elements, the vortex theory, motion of celestial bodies, basic characteristics of light, sun spots, and the movements of Earth, the Moon and comets.
