Palatalization in Modern Greek
Abstract:
Práce mapuje palatalizační procesy v novořečtině, především velární palatalizaci a jotaci, přičemž kombinuje přístup fonetiky, fonologie a morfonologie. Poslední kapitola obsahuje stručné srovnání s novořeckými dialekty a dalšími balkánskými jazyky.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on palatalization processes in Modern Greek, especially velar palatalization and iotation. It combines the approach of phonetics, phonology and morphophonemics. The last chapter contains a brief comparison with modern Greek dialects and other Balkan languages.
