Supervision / Intervision as the Prevention of the Burnout Syndrom at Linka Bezpečí Association

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce zkoumající vlivy supervize / intervize na syndrom vyhoření ve Sdružení Linka bezpečí je prověřit, zda jsou supervizní procesy v dané organizaci prevencí syndromu vyhoření, jaké faktory ve sdružení facilitují rozvoj syndromu vyhoření a zda klima organizace SLB supervizi podporuje. Teoretická část textu se věnuje bližšímu objasnění pojmů syndrom vyhoření a supervize. Důležité je následné uvedení čtenáře do kontextu Sdružení Linka bezpečí, které je nutné pro porozumění základním vztahům ovlivňujícím klima ve sdružení. Výzkum vlivů supervize / intervize na syndrom vyhoření ve SLB proběhl v říjnu 2007. Design výzkumu je kvantitativní. Výzkumným nástrojem je samoobslužný dotazník vlastní konstrukce, kombinovaný s Inventářem projevů syndromu vyhoření manželů Tošnerových. Distribuce a sběr dotazníku proběhly elektronickou cestou. K analýze dat byl využit počítač. Výzkum ve SLB nepřinesl žádná převratná zjištění. Naznačil však, že souvislosti mezi mírou syndromu vyhoření a supervizí ve SLB pravděpodobně existují a má smysl se jimi dále zabývat. Byl potvrzen předpoklad, že klima ve SLB je prosupervizního charakteru, což poukazuje na kvalitní základy pro optimální rozvoj supervize v organizaci. Studium faktorů ovlivňujících syndrom vyhoření se ukázalo jako velmi komplikované vzhledem ke své mnohostranné podmíněnosti prostředím. Součástí studie je i zpracování výsledků výzkumu do formy konkrétních doporučení pro organizaci, ve které výzkum probíhal. Jakkoli doporučení pravděpodobně nebudou pro management SLB překvapivá, mohou podpořit nastoupený směr současných změn ve SLB.

Abstract:

The aim of the study „Supervision / Intervision as the Prevention of the Burnout Syndrom at Linka bezpečí Association“ was to clarify of the relation between supervision processes in this organization and burnout syndrom. There were questions whether supervision in „Linka bezpečí Association“ is the prevence of burnout, then what factors in assotiation facilitated the developement of burnout and whether the climate of organization is protective for the supervision. The theoretical part of text attend to clarification of concepts „Burnout Syndrom“ and „Supervision“. Important is next point of theoretical part i.e. the introduction to the context of „Linka bezpečí Associatoin“ what is necessary for understanding to basic relations influencing the climate of assotiation. Research of the influence of supervision /intervision on the burnout in association was realized during the October 2007. Design of the research was kvantitative. As research tool was used self-service questionaire of authors construction combinated with „Inventory of Manifestation of Burnout Syndrom“ originated by Tošner´s. Distribution and collection of questionaires were provided with e-mail. Data were analyzed by the computer. The research in „Linka bezpečí Association“ wasn´t bring anything new but showed that there is probability of relation between the supervision and the burnout. It gave the reason for next research works. The presumption that the climate of association is supporting supervision processes was confirmed. It pointed at high-quality base of optimum developement of supervision in organization. The study of factors influencing the burnout was complicated because of multilateral conditionality of the surroundings. The part of study are concrete suggestions for surveyed association. The findings are not likely to be surprising for the management but they may support new direction of contemporary changies in „Linka bezpečí Association“.
