Abstract:

Onemocnění reprodukčního aparátu mohou psa i fenu postihnout během celého života,v některých případech způsobují nejen neplodnost, ale také vedou až úhynu zvířete. Je protodůležité, aby byl majitel o nemocech reprodukční soustavy dobře informován a uměl příznakyrozpoznat. Včasné zahájení léčby zkrátí následnou rekonvalescenci a leckdy zachrání i životzvířete.Kromě komplikací, které mohou vzniknout během březosti nebo při porodu, postihujefeny z chorob vnitřních pohlavních orgánů zejména zánět dělohy, falešná březost, mastitis neborakovina mléčné lišty. Choroby vnitřních pohlavních orgánů u psů nejčastěji postihují prostatua varlata. Jedná se o hyperplazii prostaty a kryptorchismus. V menším procentu se vyskytujíonemocnění postihující zevní pohlavní orgány. U fen je jedná o vaginitidu, u psů o priapismus.Samostatnou skupinu onemocnění u fen tvoří chroby a komplikace vzniklé v souvislostis porodem a s puerperiem. Při ztíženém porodu (dystokii) hrozí i další závažné komplikace jakoje ruptura dělohy či prolaps dělohy, případně musí být proveden císařský řez. Je tedy nezbytnévždy sledovat průběh porodu a při jakýchkoliv obtížích vyhledat odbornou pomoc. Chovatelby ale neměl do průběhu porodu zasahovat, aby případné komplikace svým zásahem ještěnezhoršil. Během puerperia může nastat u feny eklampsie (poporodní odvápnění).U psů se nejčastěji vyskytují komplikace při onemocnění zvaném kryptorchismus, tj.nesestoupení varlat. Toto onemocnění se projevuje již v 7 týdnech od narození štěněte.Kryptorchismus není problémem pouze z estetického hlediska, ale nese vážná rizika zvýšenéhovýskytu nádorových onemocnění varlat a torze varlat. Jedná se o dědičné onemocnění, kdyhlavní prevencí je, aby psi postižení kryptorchismem byli vyřazeni z chovu a zabránilo se takpředávání nemoci dalším generacím.Důležitá při onemocněních pohlavní soustavy není jen diagnostika a léčba, ale předevšímprevence, která může vzniku chorob zamezit.

Diseases of the reproductive system can affect both dogs and bitches throughout theirlives, in some cases not only causing infertility, but also leading to the death of the animal. It istherefore important that the owner is well informed about the diseases of the reproductivesystem and is able to recognize the symptoms. Early initiation of treatment shortens thesubsequent recovery and sometimes saves the life of the animal.In addition to complications that may occur during pregnancy or childbirth, bitches fromdiseases of the internal genital organs mainly affect uterine inflammation, false pregnancy,mastitis or breast cancer. Diseases of the internal genital organs in dogs most often affect theprostate and testicles. These include prostatic hyperplasia and cryptorchidism. A smallerpercentage of diseases affect the external genitalia. In bitches it is vaginitis, in dogs it ispriapism.A separate group of diseases in bitches consists of beetles and complications arising inconnection with childbirth and puerperium. In case of difficult birth (dystocia) there is a risk ofother serious complications such as rupture of the uterus or prolapse of the uterus, or a caesareansection must be performed. It is therefore necessary to always monitor the course of childbirthand seek professional help in case of any difficulties. However, the breeder should not interferein the course of childbirth so as not to aggravate any complications with his intervention.Eclampsia (postpartum decalcification) can occur in females during puerperium.In dogs, the most common complications are a disease called cryptorchidism, ie testicularfailure. This disease manifests itself as early as 7 weeks after the birth of the puppy.Cryptorchidism is not only an aesthetically problematic problem, but carries serious risks of anincreased incidence of testicular cancer and testicular torsion. It is an inherited disease, wherethe main prevention is that dogs affected by cryptorchidism be excluded from breeding and thusprevent the transmission of the disease to future generations.Not only the diagnosis and treatment, but above all the prevention that can prevent thedevelopment of diseases, is important in diseases of the reproductive system.
