Regulation of Mass Tourism in the Czech National Parks

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci jsou analyzovány právní nástroje regulace turistiky a masové turistiky v národních parcích. Práce tak poskytuje stručný přehled nejdůležitější právní úpravy, se kterou by měl být turista seznámen. Pozornost je věnována zejména nástrojům, díky kterým je možno přímo nebo nepřímo zamezit shlukování velkého počtu lidí na turisticky exponovaných místech, zakázat vstup do některých míst národních parků nebo omezit nežádoucí činnosti spojené s masovou turistikou. Poukázáno je i na nedostatky právní úpravy a možný vývoj do budoucna.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with legal instruments for the regulation of tourism and mass tourism in national parks. The thesis thus provides a brief overview of the most important legal regulations, with which the tourists should be familiar. Particular attention is paid to tools that make it possible to directly or indirectly prevent the gathering of a large number of people in places exposed to tourism, to prohibit entry to some places in national parks and to limit undesirable activities associated with mass tourism. The diploma paper also points out the shortcomings of the legislation and possible future developments.
