Smyčcové kvartety Pavla Haase z 20. let

Pavel Haas's String Quartets from the 1920's
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá analýzou dvou smyčcových kvartetů Pavla Haase pocházejících z 20. let a jejich srovnáním s Janáčkovým pozdním komorním dílem. Práce si klade za cíl identifikovat kompoziční postupy, které oba skladatele spojují, a zároveň poukázat na specifika Haasovy hudební řeči.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with a thorough analysis of Haas’s two string quartets originating in the 1920’s. Structural features of these works are subsequently compared with Janáček’s late chamber music. This thesis strives to identify parallels between compositional techniques used by each of these composers as well as to point out individual features of Haas’s musical expression.
