Bakalářská práce se zabývá Španělskou kolonizací na území dnešních Spojených států amerických, především pak na území Floridy, Kalifornie, Texasu a Nového Mexika. Práce popisuje obsazováním území a působení Františkánských misií. Rovněž se zabývá srovnáním španělských kolonií s koloniemi Velké Británie. Abstract:
The Bachelor thesis deals with the Spanish colonization on the territory of present-day United States of America, primarily on the territory of Florida, California, Texas and New Mexico. The thesis describes the seizing of the territory and the Franciscan missionary work. It also compares Spanish colonies with the colonies of Great Britain.
